“Just a quick note to say thanks for your help and guidance.My maple Gropp concert model arrived safely yesterday and all’s well.It’s a great guitar: beautiful woods and so easy to play.The Gropps have clearly gone beyond the aesthetics and considered the player: a barely noticeable fretboard curve,a lower than average action, the split saddle and even 2 inconspicuous fret markers.Intonation is evenly maintained all the way up the fretboard.I wanted maple as an alternative to my Brazilian Rosewood guitars- I’m delighted with the result.I shall look forward to experiencing the guitar as it opens up over the next few years.Undoubtedly by then I’ll be phoning back for the cocobolo model.
