A very satisfied customer

When Richard Foster received his specially built Hanika 58PC he phoned to say “absolutely immaculate … exceeds even my highest expectations … beautifully made … tight grained soundboard … superb finish … intonation spot on … very comfortable in the hands … a very satisfied customer” 2/12/2008

“Just a quick note to say again how delighted I am with my new Hanika 58PC. I have been playing it all day and it’s getting better all the time – or is it me?

As I said on the phone, it’s beautifully made and the finish is faultless. I have already changed the nut, and it works very well for me with my appalling thumb-over technique (I can’t play a D with a bottom F sharp any other way!)

Thanks, too, for including the 2 sets of strings. Can you tell me, for future reference, what make and guage they are?

I have never bought a brand new guitar before, let alone one made to my own specifications. On the label, it says “Spezial”. It is, too!

I will be emailing Armin on his website later to congratulate him on his craftsmanship and his artistry. Many thanks to you too, for making the whole buying process a pleasure. I will recommend you to all my guitar-playing friends.” Richard Foster, 02/12/2008

To own such a beautiful instrument that has been made to ones own spec is really something special

“Thought you would like my impressions of the Hanika 58 PC classical guitar purchased from you back in June this year – 2008. I’ve only just managed to put it down !!! hence my delay in sending you this note. To own such a beautiful instrument that has been made to ones own spec is really something special. The radiused, narrower and shorter fingerboard that I requested has made playing and in particular holding a barre so much easier after struggling with a standard instrument of other manufacture for many years. It is much lighter that my original instrument and I can play for hours at a time without tiring. The instrument produces a lovely bright rich tone on all strings in all positions.” Geoff Johnson, /11/2008
