Accepting Your Order
We carry out checks and authorisation procedures on credit cards, cheques, stock avilability, etc before your offer to buy from us is accepted. We reserve the right to reject any order placed with us, depending on the results of the checks and procedures that we carry out.
EXCEPT in the case of custom built guitars made to your specification, our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered.
In case the guitar is made to your specification
- we will notify you in advance of the terms on which your order is being accepted and will ask you to confirm your agreement in writing or email before payment
- your order is accepted when your payment is taken
- once your order has been accepted, you cannot then cancel your order
We may either phone or send order confirmation to your e-mail address. A receipt may be sent by post or e-mail. Goods may be dispatched separately to invoice. Please keep all paper work that we send you in case of query and if possible print out copies of emails or on line orders placed.
Smaller items and items of lower value are usually dispatched by second class post.
Larger items are sent by insured courier on a “signed for” service. This is for everyone’s benefit as it helps to avoid theft and fraud. If no one is in, a card will be put through the door giving instructions.
STOCK ITEMS: Almost all UK orders for stock items are processed within 1-3 working days. Goods are dispatched once payment has been cleared (this is normally instantaneous with credit cards and can take up to a week in the case of cheques). If ordering out of office hours (mon-fri 9am – 5pm), please take the next office day as the start time for our services. Please let us know immediately if you do not receive your order by the date we have said you should.
NON STOCK ITEMS: Guitars which are built or set up to customer specification are subject to waiting times which vary from days to months depending on a range of factors beyond our control. We will do our very best to provide our best estimates of waiting times and to keep you informed.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are subject to individual carriage quotes and delivery time estimates. Delivery estimates are only estimates and may vary.

You are entitled to change your mind either before you receive the goods or immediately on receiving them. If you want to cancel your order then please contact us immediately.
If delivery has not taken place, then the best option is for you to refuse the delivery when it occurs. You do not need to give the courier any explanation. Do not take possession of the parcel and do not sign for it.

We do not expect you to be experts in packaging, but we do consider that following our advice on packaging is part of your duty to take reasonable care.

Provided the goods are returned have been treated with reasonable care, we will give you a refund or make an exchange as you prefer. The amount refunded will not include the cost of returning an order to us, even if we make the arrangements for return on your behalf.
